I'm a Computer Science undergraduate at the University of Birmingham, predicted a First with an 84% average, including 98% in Mathematical & Logical Foundations, 100% in Functional Programming, and 94% in Object-Oriented Programming. In 2026 I was named the TargetJobs UK Software Engineering Undergraduate of the Year.
I build full-stack and AI-integrated software, and I care about systems that are correct and well-tested, but most importantly, genuinely useful. Away from the keyboard I'm a U18 Rugby National Cup winner, a former 1st XV rugby captain, and a BUCS American Football student athlete. I supported 400+ students as a Data Structures & Algorithms teaching associate and spent summer 2026 as a software engineering intern at Skyscanner.

Implemented an approximate-pricing experiment across a search space of hundreds of trillions of combinations, increasing weighted coverage by around 1%. Also contributed to an indicative-pricing team’s Java/Spark pipeline, deployed to Kubernetes and serving over 15,000 requests a second of live client pricing.

Labelled data for RLHF on coding models, debugging complex agent interactions of 100+ turns and validating tool-use logic, alongside wider annotation and validation of machine-learning training data with cross-functional teams.

Promoted to Co-Lead within the first week. Delivered coding and robotics sessions to classes of 8–15 students aged 6–13, and led extension sessions that took advanced students beyond the standard syllabus.
American Football Society
Redesigned the club’s peer-mentorship "family" system into larger groups, building resilience against mid-season mentor attrition and directly addressing a support gap I experienced as a first-year player.
A personal AI clarity assistant, built solo and in active development. A Next.js front end and FastAPI backend drive a Claude tool-use loop with background scheduling, backed by SQLite and ChromaDB. A controlled A/B evaluation against the live API cut response length by over 50% with no loss in quality, and restructuring the system prompt for prompt caching lowered cost and latency. Deployed behind Cloudflare Access with CI/CD and daily security scans.
